My Darling River

This morning my neice River, passed away at 8:02 AM. I am heartbroken. The entire family is heartbroken. I know she did not want to suffer anymore. I know she wanted to get out. Her decision was the only way she knew to escape her home life. In my heart I know she is happy now. She deserves to be happy. I hope to have her temple work done as soon as allowed. I miss and love River with all my heart, and I hope she knows that I wanted to help her.

She was tired of hurting...

I'm so sorry...I can't imagine the hurt you and your family are feeling. We'll definitely be praying for you guys. If I were there I'd give you a big gigantic hug.

Just remember that those we love that move on to the next part of their journey in the plan of salvation would want us to make the most of the time we have here. We miss them, but they would never want their moving on to cripple us. Jesus felt her pain and feels yours. He offers comfort that no one else can. Finding ways to help others and remembering her will bring joy to her and you. Doing her temple work will be a great thing.

Losing those we love is always hard because we miss them. Trust in the Savior's plan. Keep loving those around you. Give lots of hugs(you are so good at that).

We all miss our sister, niece, daughter, granddaughter, cousin and friend. She had so much to look forward to, yet pain overshadowed the joy. She was innocent in so many ways, most of all the ways of the Lord because she had not been taught the proper path to Him. She is with Him tonight and will learn of him and experience great blessings ahead. Her temple ordinances will be part of those blessings, probably a year from now. She was blessed to have you as her aunt, and that will never change.
